Senior Associate

Tanner has been in public accounting since 2017, when he began his career with Hawkins Ash CPAs. Now as a senior associate he leads engagements from start to finish, including the planning and supervision of audits. His particular focus includes commercial, governmental and public school audits.

“My favorite part of working at Hawkins Ash CPAs and in public accounting is the interpersonal communication and learning experiences from all levels, inside and outside the firm. Joy comes from learning from those who have been in the position that you’re in, and then doing your best to pass that knowledge on to younger staff. The sense of accomplishment is much greater when you can take that experience and help a client in a specialized way that’s unique to their organization.”

Tanner received a Bachelor of Accounting with a minor in Sustainable Business from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Senior Associate

Isaac joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2017. In his new role as a senior associate with the firm, Isaac focuses on planning and supervising audits for commercial, government and nonprofit entities.

“What I really enjoy about Hawkins Ash CPAs is the great group of people that I get to work with. They are smart, competent and fun to be around.

Isaac received an Associate of Applied Science in business management from Western Technical College, as well as a Bachelor of Science in accountancy from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. He is a recent Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Amanda Farley, CPA

Amanda Farley, CPA

Tax Supervisor

Amanda began her career in 2014 as an intern and is now a tax supervisor in the firm’s Green Bay, WI, office. In this role, she helps to advise small businesses and assists with tax preparation and planning for a variety of different entities. Amanda also helps provide audit services for employee benefit plans and more.

Amanda received a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Amanda also is active in the local community as treasurer of the American Marketing Association – Northeast Wisconsin and as a member of Current Young Professionals of the Greater Green Bay Chamber.

Kaitlin Kubiak

Kaitlin originally joined Hawkins Ash CPAs as an intern during the busy seasons of 2017 and 2018. She then started a full-time position later in 2018. Now a senior associate, Kaitlin provides consistent and thoughtful audit and tax services to the firm’s clients on a daily basis.

Kaitlin received a Bachelor of Accounting with an information systems minor from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Justin Kudick

Justin joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2015. Now as a supervisor his responsibilities include auditing credit unions, nonprofit organizations and a variety of other privately held businesses.

Justin received a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and a Master of Public Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Justin also is active in the local community as treasurer of the National Railroad Museum.

Emily McGuire, CPA

Emily joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2016. Now as an audit supervisor she performs reviews, compilations and audits of voucher schools, nonprofit organizations, employee benefit plans, credit unions and commercial entities. Emily is a member of the firm’s Voucher School Service Group, Nonprofit Service Group and Employee Benefit Plan Service Group.

Sophia joined Hawkins Ash CPAs as an intern during the busy season in 2018 and was hired as a full-time employee just months later. Now a senior associate with the firm, Sophia focuses on preparing individual and business tax returns. She also performs audit services for credit unions, nonprofit organizations and voucher schools.

Nicole began her career with Hawkins Ash CPAs as an intern and is now a supervisor. In this role, her responsibilities include providing various tax services for individuals, businesses and nonprofit entities. In addition, she performs compilation and review engagements. She is also a regional trainer for the east region of the firm.

Nicole received a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, she also is active in the local community as treasurer of Hope House of Manitowoc County, golf coach for the Kaukauna Area Special Olympics and a member of the Young Professionals of Manitowoc County.

Jeff joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2007. He is now a supervisor and provides a full range of tax services to commercial, individual and nonprofit entities. Additionally, Jeff audits employee benefits plans for the Manitowoc, WI, office and is a member of the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Service Group. He is also has a focus in sales tax and Affordable Care Act.

Jeff received a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

With nearly two decades of experience in tax preparation and accounting, Holly joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2018 when the firm made an acquisition. Now as a senior manager she specializes in reviewing tax returns and assisting with staff training.

A member of the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs as a Federal Tax Committee Member, Holly also is active in the local community as a volunteer committee member for the Brown Deer Farmers Market and the annual Spooky Sussex Festival.

Matt joined the Hawkins Ash CPAs team in 2017 with several years of experience in public accounting. In his new role as a tax supervisor, Matt focuses on working with businesses, estates, individuals and trusts.

Morgan joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2017. Now as a senior associate she is in charge of all 1099 processing for the Rochester, MN, office of the firm. Morgan also assists with bookkeeping and preparing tax returns.

Morgan received an Associate of Science in Equine Science from Rochester Community and Technical College and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.

Morgan was recognized as Hawkins Ash CPAs Employee of Excellence for Quarter 1 in 2019.

Jennifer Kiehne, CPP

Senior Associate

Jennifer joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2014. In 2019 she became a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)—a career accomplishment of which she is most proud.

Since beginning bookkeeping and accounting work in the late 1980s, Jennifer’s experience spans more than 30 years. Now as a senior associate she specializes in payroll processing and assists with quarterly payroll tax returns. In addition, she works with clients to determine sales tax and provider tax. She also performs work comp audits.

“I enjoy working with my clients, who range from farmers to restaurateurs and construction workers to chiropractors. The list is endless!”

Jennifer attended Rochester Community College. She is a Certified QuickBooks Desktop ProAdvisor and Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.

In addition, Jennifer is a member of the American Payroll Association and the American Payroll Association’s NorthStar (Minnesota) Chapter.

With more than 15 years of accounting experience, Steve joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2017. In his new role as tax supervisor, he prepares and reviews tax returns for businesses, individuals, trusts and exempt organizations, as well as financial statement review and compilation.

“What I enjoy most about working in my field is having the resources to help clients make smart tax moves. I am quite happy when I am able to keep them from paying unnecessary taxes!”

Steve received a Bachelor of Business Administration in management from Radford University and a Masters of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Phoenix. He is a recent Certified Public Accountant (CPA), as well as an Enrolled Agent (EA) and a Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.

A member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Steve also is active in the local community as a member of the Winona Noon Lion’s Club.

I joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2011. As the Firm's marketing manager, I develop and deploy strategic marketing and communications plans to fulfill the marketing goals of the Firm as a whole, each office and business line.
