Jacob Bisinger
Jacob Bisinger is promoted to Senior Associate.
Jacob Bisinger is a Senior Associate in the Hawkins Ash CPAs La Crosse office and has been with the Firm since 2018. In this position, he compiles monthly and year-end financials for Housing Authorities.
He also provides complete unaudited and audited REAC submissions, budgeting, filing monthly VMS for voucher clients and helps the Firm with annual operating subsidy submissions.
Renee Kabat
Renee Kabat is promoted to Senior Associate.
Renee Kabat joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2012. As a Senior Associate in the La Crosse, WI, office, she processes payroll, payroll taxes, quarterly tax filings and financial statements. Renee also provides QuickBooks support to new and current clients.
Devyn Korish
Devyn Korish is promoted to Senior Associate.
Devyn Korish joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2021. As a Senior Associate in the La Crosse, WI, office, he prepares financial statements, private audits and well as audits for governments and not-for-profits. Devyn also prepares tax returns.

Rachel Burrow joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2018. As a Senior Audit Manager in the firm’s La Crosse, WI, office, she provides audit services for commercial entities, nonprofit organizations and employee benefit plans.
Justin Petersen
Justin Petersen is promoted to Senior Manager.
Justin Petersen joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2013. As a Senior Audit Manager in the firm’s La Crosse, WI, office, he leads the housing authority audit niche and is a member of the firm’s government service group. Justin also provides audit service for municipalities, public school districts and tax credit projects. Justin specializes in government compliance, completing federal and state single audits required under Uniform Guidance.

Jessica Dorans
Jessica Dorans is promoted to Senior Associate.
Jessica Dorans joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2022 and currently holds the position of Senior Associate at the firm’s Neenah, WI office.
Jessica specializes in tax preparation, including individual, business, and trust filings. Her accuracy and compliance ensure clients navigate tax complexities confidently. She provides services in Employee Benefit Plan 401K and Voucher School audits, showcasing her sharp eye for detail and analytical skills.
She also provides accounting and bookkeeping services using QuickBooks.
Nicholas Sattler
Nicholas Sattler is promoted to Senior Manager.
Nicholas Sattler joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2021, and is currently a Senior Manager in the Firm’s Neenah, WI, office. Nicholas entered public accounting after graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a Master of Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Nicholas provides a variety of tax services, including individual, corporate, and trust tax returns. His projects also include payroll reports; assisting with compilations and reviews; and general accounting and bookkeeping services. He assists clients with QuickBooks issues and is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Jack Geurts
Jack Geurts is promoted to Senior Associate.
Jack Geurts is a Senior Associate at Hawkins Ash CPAs, based in the Green Bay, WI office, and has been part of the team since June 2022. His primary focus centers on conducting commercial and financial institution audits.
He provides an array of services to clients, including conducting thorough testing during audit procedures, preparing financial statements, and engaging in effective communication with clients to ensure efficient completion of projects and maintain strong relationships.
Kayla Minor
Kayla Minor is promoted to Senior Associate.
Kayla Minor joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2020. As a Senior Associate in the Firm’s Green Bay office, her main responsibilities include nonprofit audits, private school audits, and small business audits. Kayla also oversees Compilation and Review Engagements, where she ensures accurate and comprehensive financial reporting for clients.

Jonathan Blaha
Jonathan Blaha is promoted to Senior Associate.
Jonathan Blaha joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2020. As a Senior Associate in the Firm’s Manitowoc office, his main focus is tax and employee benefit plan audits.
Amber Ebert
Amber Ebert is promoted to Supervisor.
Amber Ebert began her career with Hawkins Ash CPAs as an associate in 2018. Her focuses include in-charging and performing governmental audits for school districts and municipalities.
Jamie Lambrecht
Jamie Lambrecht is promoted to Senior Associate.
Jamie Lambrecht joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2008. In her role as a Senior Associate, she prepares payroll, personal property tax returns, sales tax and monthly bookkeeping and financial statements. Jamie is in charge of accounts payable and accounts receivable in the Firm’s Manitowoc office and electronically files all tax returns. She is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.

Jake Stange, CPA
Jake Stange is promoted to Senior Associate.
Jake Stange joined Hawkins Ash CPAs as a Senior Associate after interning during the 2020 and 2021 tax season and the summer of 2021. He recently graduated with his Bachelor’s in Accounting. Jake also obtained his CPA license. As a Senior Associate he focuses on tax returns for individuals and corporations, voucher school audits, and employee benefit plan audits
Rachel Blumenshine, CPA
Rachel Blumenshine is promoted to Senior Associate.
Rachel Blumenshine joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2018 at the firm’s Medford, WI, location. As a Senior Associate, Rachel prepares tax returns and provides accounting and bookkeeping services, assisting with voucher school audits and preparing financial statements, as well as annual information returns for clients.
Before joining Hawkins Ash CPAs, Rachel gained business experience working at UC Davis, where her main focuses were budgeting and financial reporting.
Her public accounting experience includes working at Jamie Baker & Co., where she assisted with the preparation of tax returns and HUD audits.

Steve Pabian, CPA
Steve Pabian is promoted to Senior Manager.
Steve has over twenty-five years of public accounting experience specializing in assurance and management advisory services for small to medium-sized entities. In Steve’s public accounting experience, he has managed and performed audits in a variety of industries that include commercial entities, employee benefit plans, and nonprofit organizations. He is well-versed in providing technical assistance with generally accepted accounting principles. Steve is a Senior Manager in the Firm’s Mequon, WI office. Steve is a member of the Firm’s Audit and Accounting Committee and the Employee Benefit Plan Service Group.
Rochester
David Fochs, CPA
David Fochs is promoted to Senior Manager.
David Fochs, Jr., began his career in public accounting in 2011 and joined the staff of Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2020.
As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Senior Manager in the firm’s Rochester, MN, office, David reviews corporate, individual and pass-through business tax returns.
He also assists clients with 990 nonprofit and foreign filings, farm tax accounting and international taxation, in addition to recent Employee Retention Credit (ERC) calculations.
Prior to joining Hawkins Ash CPAs, David served as tax supervisor and tax manager at two award-winning public accounting firms in the Midwest.
Marcus Plaehn
Marcus Plaehn is promoted to Senior Associate.
Marus Plaehn joined Hawkins Ash CPAs in 2019. As an Senior Associate in the Firm’s Rochester office, his main responsibilities include individual, business, and trust tax returns. He also works on non-profit returns (990s) and compilations, reviews, AUPs, and audits.

Kathy Sikkink joined the Hawkins Ash CPAs team at the Firm’s Rochester, MN, location in 2021. In her current role as a Supervisor, Kathy focuses on providing tax services to businesses and individuals.
