Randall Miller, CPA, partner at Hawkins Ash CPAs, has accepted a two-year appointment as Chairperson for the Peer Review Alliance. The Peer Review Alliance (PRA) is the administering entity (AE) for the American Institute of Certified Pubic Accounts (AICPA) Peer Review Program. PRA oversees peer reviews for more than 2,000 Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firms licensed in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, and West Virginia. The Peer Review program helps individuals and firms find qualified peer reviewers, schedules reviews, and assists firms and reviewers with the peer review process.
“I am a big believer in fellow CPAs helping one another. Serving as chair of PRA allows me the opportunity to serve my fellow CPAs and assist them through their peer reviews,” said Miller. “I have served on two AEs and I have broad accounting and auditing and Quality Control (QC) experience going back over 30 years; I currently serve as the QC partner of Hawkins Ash CPAs. I’m pleased to put this experience to work for the greater CPA community.”
“The life blood of the AICPA Peer Review Program are teams of volunteer CPAs who serve on the various Report Acceptance Bodies (RABs) through AEs like PRA.”
